Find yourself again

We bought Newlands at the end of the pandemic and its been a joy to live here ever since! We have worked hard to make The Honeypot at Newlands a truly relaxing and captivating space and are proud that we have hosted many families, couples and singles since we opened in June 2022 and have five star reviews across the platforms. We’d love to welcome you soon!

Located in Bury, West Sussex, The Honeypot at Newlands is nestled in the South Downs, at the foot of a stunning hill and set in a traditional downland village. Surrounded by the infinite bounties of nature on all sides, swimming with bird song in your ears, a stay with us is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with yourself and rekindle your passion for life.

At The Honetpot at Newlands, we recognise that the beauty and serenity of nature are invaluable, and we are lucky that we get to experience it in all its glory. Therefore, we strive to minimise our environmental impact and keep our place as eco-friendly as we can. We try to reuse and recycle wherever possible and ask our guests to join us in helping to preserve our special piece of the countryside.

We stayed at The Honeypot with our 9 month old daughter and another couple. It is a beautiful house with a peaceful, big garden for al fresco dining, tennis court and a fab heated outdoor swimming pool- a real treat, especially for young children! The inside is also spacious and well-equipped, with lots of useful extras in the bathroom and kitchen. Above all, it is extremely child friendly with a separate (dark!) annex and a travel cot, monitor, high chairs, books, and toys.


But the best part of The Honeypot is the fantastic and kind host, Jessica. She was responsive and helpful from the start, and so keen to ensure we had a comfortable, enjoyable stay. She recommended places to visit and eat in the area (there is also a detailed, useful welcome book), tried to arrange a mobile masseuse for us, and above all babysat for us so we could have dinner at the wonderful Pig nearby - what a treat!
This was one of our first holidays with our baby and a real success, largely thanks to Jess!
